We represent the concerns of artists, help them apply for funding, take care of production management, find opportunities for them to perform and handle promotion in the press and social media. In addition, we develop concepts, festivals and residencies and provide advice on dramaturgy and textual work.
We support artists and institutions from the initial idea to a convincing concept. We help you come up with a relevant and appealing explanation for the aesthetic vision and answer the question why the artistic project is necessary and relevant right now. We like working with a cross-disciplinary and diverse cast and involving NGOs and administrative bodies. The conception of the festival WHAT A MESS / CUM EX with a call for artists and discussion groups and panels on new, sustainable economic forms involving many local and national partners is an example of this. Another one would be DAS DEUTSCHE REIHENHAUS, a performance series for artists and initiatives, or the Mini Festival DIALOG as part of the Goethe Festwoche 2016 of the city of Frankfurt am Main.
What should be covered in a proposal? What should be the ratio of theoretical concept to practical implementation? What important information should not be left out? How can an application be made appealing?
We shorten and concretise, we make statements and ask questions without blathering. We style each letter of application visually unique and ensure that it reaches the right sponsors and project partners on time. Deal?
We offer to be part of the artistic process, all the way to the finished production - if necessary, from putting together the team, drafting contracts, applying for funding and searching for suitable cooperation partners, to scheduling and accounting. This is what we’re currently doing in cooperation with ELLE KOLLEKTIV for the third part of the Ammersee trilogy. Also, along with Daniel Schauf we are creating a radio play based on his theater production on the future of the memory of the Shoah entitled ES WIRD GEWESEN SEIN.
Press & public relations
An important component for the visibility and success of a production is working with the press, and other public relations activities. Above all, in addition to designing flyers, producing photo material and footage, this entails a suitable social media campaign nowadays. We have access to a pool of associated artists from our network and can bring both concrete suggestions and vague ideas to fruition. We provide all regional and national print media with the relevant information while paying attention to style and design. We send out invitations for briefings and open rehearsals, and feed the necessary information and the progress of the production to all important social media channels such as Instagram, Twitter and Facebook.
